Eurocomfort

Eurocomfort is one of the most important Italian producers of thermo elastic fabrics, with its own line of orthopaedic products with a preventive and supporting function, especially in the post-operative phase. In its 40 year-history Eurocomfort, thanks to its professional approach with a great interest in innovation and research, has become a leading company in the Italian and European market.
High quality and resistance are the distinctive features of Eurocomfort products, which are manufactured traditionally in anallergic cotton. A great result of Eurocomfort’s recent research is the special fabric produced through DrySkin technology. This fabric allows perspiration being easily absorbed, while the skin remains dry. Eurocomfort, a great company whose aim is to serve hospitals, orthopaedic clinics and sporting clubs.

The Story

 

  • 1970

    Eurocomfort was founded in 1970 in Casatenovo (LC), as a family-owned business specialized in the production of elastic fabrics made of wool, addressed to the Italian market.

  • 1975

    In 1975, besides the production of textiles, the creation of wool finished products started.

  • 1985

    In 1985 Eurocomfort broadened their supply to foreign markets, reaching mainly Eastern Europe.

  • 1990

    In 1990 production expanded, including textiles made of other fibers and a wider range of finished products.

  • 1992

    In 1992 distribution extended to the rest of Europe and, few years later, to Russia.

  • 2005

    A further widening of the supply net took place in year 2005, when our products reached the Mexican market.

  • 2010

    In 2010, thanks to our laboratories’ technological research, the Dry Skin fabric was created, which is made of a special fiber, making it exclusive for its peculiar capacity of conveying transpiration outwards and keeping the skin dry.

  • 2014

    Year 2014 is crucial: the company reinforces its international structure by opening a new branch in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
